But when we first got on stage, we were overwhelmed by the love of the people. “When we started this project, we didn't think about performing live… We founded Caravan Palace solely for studio work. Something that would eventually become their calling, their main source for the realization of their creativity. By the time the film was completed, they realized that they were faced with something interesting. Prior to this, all three participants invited to record the soundtrack to the film played in an old gypsy jazz ensemble, while simultaneously doing electronic music. Since more people were needed for live performances, the other three active members of the band were found on MySpace! Success! Caravan Palace on stageĬaravan Palace started out as a studio project.
